We lead the metal forming industry in R&D. We consistently research coil processing quality with an emphasis on automation tension control, roller leveling, press feeding, and shearing/slitting.
With our innovative R&D team working in both mechanical and electrical control systems, we ensure our customers have access not only to mechanical design solutions but also to mechatronics system solutions for different applications.
KORE also partners closely with leading American and European manufacturers on a variety of projects in the coil processing industry. We constantly apply the latest technology to our customers’ projects and work side-by-side with a variety of service centers to implement unique solutions for many of the stringent product demands challenging the market today.

Coil Handling Finishing Line Innovations
Our cut-to-length and slitting finishing lines offer solutions using the most advanced European methods. We process a wide range of different materials and sheet metals including stainless steel, aluminum, and hot-rolled, cold-rolled, and surface treated coil. Thanks to our efficient control system, we provide energy regeneration and feedback to the other components within the finishing line.
We use a multi-servo control axis to ensure the finishing line is synchronized. Our cut-to-length finishing lines have solutions for stop-cut, flying shear, and rotary shear application. Our slitting lines provide solutions with double slitter heads to ensure high productivity.
